Despite the rough start, the Eagles managed to pull off a 34-29 victory at Arena Corinthians.
“But we responded well,” Smith added, highlighting the resilience of the team after facing several challenges during the game, including miscues and turnovers.
The standout player of the night was running back Saquon Barkley, who saved the day by scoring three touchdowns and showcasing his versatility on the field. Barkley’s performance solidified the Eagles’ decision to invest in him with a lucrative contract in the offseason.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts navigated the game’s challenges and managed to connect with his receivers, including A.J. Brown, who had a standout performance with a pivotal 67-yard touchdown catch.
Despite some defensive lapses, the Eagles managed to secure the win with an interception that shifted the game in their favor. Rookie cornerback Quinyon Mitchell also made his presence known with a strong showing in his debut.
Looking ahead, the Eagles aim to iron out the kinks in their performance as they gear up to face the Atlanta Falcons in their next game. Coach Nick Sirianni is optimistic about the team’s growth and is determined to address the areas that need improvement.
