President Biden’s recent interview with ABC News has stirred up a lot of reactions among dedicated Democratic voters. For many, it was a relief after the chaotic debate, but for others, there were concerns about his age and cognitive abilities.
Jayden D’Onofrio, 19, chairman of the Florida Future Leaders PAC, praised Biden for his straightforwardness about his age and cognitive abilities, reassuring voters about his capabilities. On the other hand, John Avalos, a former member of the San Francisco board of supervisors, expressed frustration and concern about Biden’s refusal to take a cognitive test.
Despite the mixed reactions, some Democratic voters found Biden’s arguments against Trump clearer and more convincing in this interview. William Davis, a precinct delegate in Detroit, noted Biden’s improved performance compared to the previous debate but expressed concerns about his ability to sustain it.
Mo Neal, a social media page owner for Lancaster County Democrats, commended Biden for his demeanor, describing him as “gentlemanly and sedate” in contrast to Trump’s aggressive style.
