According to The Athletic, the majority of NFL players surveyed in the 2024 anonymous player poll (72.5%) viewed Swift’s interest in the game in a positive light. Only 4.9% saw it as negative, while 22.5% remained neutral. The players believe that Swift’s involvement in the NFL has brought more attention to the league and attracted new fans.

In the player poll, 102 votes were cast on the topic of Swift’s impact on the NFL. Players were able to share their opinions freely, with one player mentioning, “I think it’s been positive for the league. If that increases the salary cap, I don’t think anybody’s gonna be too mad about that one.”
Another player highlighted that Swift’s presence at games has attracted new fans to the sport, saying, “Bringing more people to the game of football is always good.”

However, some players saw the downside of Swift’s presence, with one player feeling that she was receiving excessive coverage and distracting viewers from the game.
